Switches and sockets in homes are the most commonly used elements of the electrical network. These fittings allow us to turn our electrical appliances on and off and connect them to the electrical network.

Switches are used to break or close an electrical circuit. The most common types are:
* Single-phase switches: The most common type, which switches a single circuit.
* Toggle switch: Also called an alternative switch. It is usually used for switching lights from multiple points.
* Cross switches: Used for lighting that can be controlled from multiple locations.
* Dimmers: They are used to control brightness.
* Doorbell switches: Used to operate the doorbell.
